We do not run these tests ourselves. Independent figures are quoted from the source named in each row.

Lubluelu is a reasonable budget pick for the hardware and a risky one for service. Owners mostly like the price and the LiDAR mapping, but the loudest complaint about the brand is support that goes quiet when a warranty or return claim starts. No independent lab we could find has published a test of any lubluelu robot vacuum. This guide is researched from published specs, store policies, a recall database and named third-party review pages, not tested in our own lab (see how we score).

Prices below were read on Oct 23, 2026. The model sold with a US plug today is the SL68 Plus at $185.99 (list $239.99) on the lubluelu US collection page. The pricier S1000 shows at $330.99, but its product page lists only EU and UK plug types.

Who sells lubluelu and what does the warranty cover?

Lubluelu sells mainly through its own Shopify store, with a German phone number and Central European support hours in the footer. The footer also links to a LinkedIn page with the slug shenzhen-xincheng-innovation-technology-co-ltd, which points to a Shenzhen-based operator. The store advertises a 24-month warranty and a 30-day return window on its warranty policy page.

  • Main body, dock, auto-empty base: 24 months.
  • Battery pack: 12 months.
  • Filters, mops, brushes, dust bags: no warranty.
  • The warranty applies to purchases from lubluelu.com. For Amazon, eBay or TikTok purchases the page tells you to follow that platform’s policy.

Two years on paper beats the 1-year limited warranty printed on Roborock’s US page for the Q10 S5+. The catch is enforcement, covered next.

What do owners complain about?

The repeated complaint is after-sales support, not the robot itself. On Trustpilot, lubluelu.com showed 1.8 of 5 from 94 reviews on Oct 23, 2026, with 79% of them one-star and 11% five-star. Most of those reviewers are in the UK and Ireland, and many bought through the brand’s eBay or AliExpress shops, so the score says more about service than about US Amazon orders.

The same pattern shows up elsewhere. On ProductReview.com.au, 3 of the 11 reviews we counted for the SL60D were negative, and 4 mentioned either Wi-Fi or app connection trouble or a support email that went unanswered. A Home Assistant owner of two SL60D units on Reddit still called them a bargain, with the warning that support is lousy and that a claim was refused because the unit was bought from another shop.

On the hardware side, a Tom’s Guide writer wrote in July 2024 that he bought an SL60D himself and found it mapped his home and cleaned wood and carpet, though it still gets stuck under one table. That is one household’s report and a deal post, not a lab result.

How do you check a lubluelu before you pay? (6 steps)

  1. Confirm the plug and region. Open lubluelu.com/collections/united-states. On Oct 23 the only robot vacuum in that US list was the SL68 Plus ($185.99). Its page showed the US plug as the in-stock option and EU, UK and AU as sold out. Do not order a model whose page offers only EU or UK plugs.
  2. Choose the channel with a safety net. A Trustpilot reviewer with three lubluelu robots advised buying through Amazon or eBay so you have recourse. Pay with a credit card, and keep the order email and the model number.
  3. Price the consumables first. The US collection page lists a SL60/SL68/L20 replacement battery at $35.99 and an L40/B40/L15 roller brush at $16.99, but no dust-bag or mop-cloth listing for the SL68 Plus. Roborock’s US page, by comparison, lists 6 dust bags at $25.59, a main brush at $11.50 and a side brush at $15.99 for the Q10 S5+. Email contact@lubluelu.com for the bag part number before you buy.
  4. Run a 30-day trial like a test drive. Map the whole home in the first week, then start a clean from the app. If the robot drives in circles or drops Wi-Fi after a firmware update, one owner reports that deleting the learned map in the app fixed it.
  5. Photograph the box on delivery. The warranty policy requires, within 24 hours of receipt: a photo of the unopened outer box, a full photo of the inner packaging, and close photos of the damage.
  6. File claims in the format they ask for. Email contact@lubluelu.com with the model number, a description, photos or video, and proof of purchase. The policy says missing items slow the claim.

How does the SL68 Plus compare with Roborock and eufy at nearby prices?

The SL68 Plus is cheaper, but it buys less navigation. Its product page lists 4,500 Pa suction, LDS LiDAR mapping, a 2.5 L bag station and up to 130 minutes of runtime. The Roborock Q10 S5+ is $329.99 on Roborock’s US store (Oct 23) and lists 10,000 Pa, PreciSense LiDAR and Reactive Tech obstacle avoidance. The SL68 Plus spec table lists anti-fall and anti-collision sensors but no camera-based object recognition. Pascal figures are brand claims and are not comparable across brands without a lab test. eufy’s Omni C20 was $379.99 on eufy’s US collection page the same day. For a line-by-line view, see lubluelu vs eufy.

Common mistakes

  • Buying an off-brand reseller listing and expecting lubluelu to honor the warranty.
  • Skipping the delivery photos, then missing the 24-hour window.
  • Treating the brand’s own “2024 Comprehensive Review” blog post as independent. It sits on lubluelu.com.
  • Assuming a store-page rating is the full picture. The S1000 page showed 22 reviews, all four or five stars, but a seller controls what its own page shows.

When should you replace it or walk away?

Replace the battery when runtime falls well short of the listed 130 minutes (SL68 Plus) and you are past 12 months, because the battery has the shortest warranty. Walk away from lubluelu if you need guaranteed service: no recall turned up on the CPSC database (zero results for robot vacuum, robotic vacuum and the manufacturer name on Oct 23, 2026), but a clean recall record does not predict how fast a claim is handled. If you want a safer service record, compare our budget robot vacuum picks and the best robot vacuums. Read our reviews of the SL68 Plus and G30 cordless stick vacuum for model details.

FAQ

Is lubluelu a legitimate company?

It sells real products and publishes a warranty, but its service reputation is poor. Trustpilot shows 1.8 of 5 from 94 reviews as of Oct 23, 2026.

Has lubluelu had a safety recall?

The CPSC SaferProducts.gov recall API returned no results for robot vacuum, robotic vacuum or lubluelu as manufacturer on Oct 23, 2026.

Can I get spare parts in the US?

The US collection page lists batteries and brushes for some series. We found no SL68 Plus bag or mop listing there, so ask support first.

The spec sheet is thinner on obstacle avoidance and the brand has no independent lab data, but it costs $144 to $194 less than the Roborock and eufy models named above.

Does the 24-month warranty cover Amazon purchases?

The warranty page says it applies to lubluelu.com purchases, and platform purchases follow the platform’s policy.

What owners report

1.8 of 5 (Trustpilot, all lubluelu.com purchases) from 94 ratings on Trustpilot read Oct 23, 2026

Ratings shown on a seller's own page can leave out reviews the seller removed. We read the most recent reviews ourselves and summarize what repeats.

  • −A repeated complaint is slow or missing support after a fault, return or warranty claim, especially for units bought through the brand's eBay or AliExpress shops.
  • −Wi-Fi or app connection drops and a unit that stops pairing with the app show up in several SL60D reviews on ProductReview.com.au.
  • +Owners on Reddit and ProductReview.com.au repeatedly praise the price, the LiDAR mapping and the vacuuming on hard floors.

Just be aware that support is lousy.

r/homeassistant, owner of two SL60D units, Oct 2025

I like the machines and I have 3!! Cleans well, nice app when you get the hang of it but the customer service is appaling.

The specs that matter, in plain English

LDS LiDAR
A spinning laser distance sensor that maps rooms. It does not recognize objects like cables or socks.
Pa (Pascal)
The unit brands use for suction. Figures are claims and are not comparable across brands without a lab test.
Auto-empty station
A dock that pulls dust from the robot bin into a sealed bag, so you empty bags instead of the bin.
Limited warranty
A time-limited repair or replace promise that excludes wear parts and often depends on where you bought the product.
