Brand claim vs independent measurement

ProductWhat the brand claimsIndependent figureSource
Roborock Qrevo CurvXPet hair pickup Roborock markets a Dual Anti-Tangle System (DuoDivide main brush certified by SGS for a 0% hair-entanglement rate) but does not publish an independent pet-hair pickup percentage. 52% pet hair pickup measured in TechGearLab's lab test, the weakest of the five categories it scored for this model. TechGearLab
Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro OmniIndependent suction or navigation test Ecovacs states 10,000 Pa suction and 99.8% cleaning efficiency from ZeroTangle 2.0, based on its own in-house lab testing. No independent lab measurement found. TechGearLab's 144-review vacuum catalog and RTINGS' vacuum review index do not list a Deebot N30 Pro Omni review as of Sep 16, 2026. TechGearLab vacuum catalog
Dreame L50 UltraIndependent suction or mopping test Dreame states 19,500 Pa Vormax suction and recognition of more than 180 obstacle types, based on its own in-house lab testing. TechGearLab has published a full review of this model, but this article limits itself to one quoted independent data point per testing outlet, used above for the Roborock Qrevo CurvX, so no second figure from that review is drawn into this row. TechGearLab
eufy Omni C20Independent suction or mopping test eufy states 7,000 Pa suction and a room-temperature Mop Master wash at 180 RPM with 6 N of pressure, based on its own product testing. No independent lab measurement found. TechGearLab's vacuum catalog lists other eufy Omni models, such as the Omni E25 and the RoboVac X8 Hybrid, but not the Omni C20, and RTINGS has no eufy robot vacuum review, as of Sep 16, 2026. We do not run these tests ourselves. Independent figures are quoted from the source named in each row.

If you want the strongest all-around combo and can spend $799.99, the Roborock Qrevo CurvX has the most suction in this group at 22,000 Pa, plus a 176°F hot water mop wash and a retractable LiDAR turret that still maps 108 object types. If $799.99 is too much, the Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni is the one to buy: it costs $315.00, still washes its mop pads in 60°C hot water, and auto-lifts 9 mm off carpet.

Two more picks solve narrower problems. The Dreame L50 Ultra ($899.99) uses a ProLeap retractable-leg chassis to climb thresholds and single steps up to 2.36 inches, plus a 167°F hot water mop wash and 3D structured-light navigation that recognizes more than 180 object types. The eufy Omni C20 ($699.99) is only 3.35 inches tall, so it fits under sofas and low cabinets the other three cannot reach, though its 7,000 Pa suction is the weakest of the four.

How we picked

Every pick below is scored on five criteria: Vacuum cleaning (25%), Mopping (20%), Navigation & obstacle avoidance (20%), Dock & maintenance (15%), and 3-year cost for pads, bags, filters and cleaning solution (20%). We read the spec sheet and current price on each brand’s own US store page: us.roborock.com, dreametech.com, ecovacs.com/us and eufy.com. These are researched picks based on published specifications and pricing, not units we tested in person. See how we score for the full method.

What to look for

  • Suction power: look for at least 8,000 Pa if you have area rugs. The eufy Omni C20 in this list runs 7,000 Pa and noticeably trails the 10,000 Pa and 22,000 Pa models here on embedded dirt.
  • Mop lift height: a lift of at least 7 mm keeps the pad off carpet on the way past. All four combos here lift between 9 mm and 17 mm.
  • Mop wash temperature: hot water above 140°F (60°C) cuts through grease and dried spills better than a cold rinse. The Roborock Qrevo CurvX washes at 176°F, the Dreame L50 Ultra washes at 167°F, and the Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni washes at 60°C (140°F). The eufy Omni C20 washes with room-temperature water instead.
  • Auto-empty interval: a 2.5 liter or larger dust bag rated for 60 days or more means fewer bag changes a year. Check the liter size and the day count together, since a small bag rated for 100 days assumes light use.
  • Navigation type: LiDAR-based combos (all four picks here use it) remap fast after furniture moves. Confirm whether obstacle avoidance uses a camera, a structured-light sensor, or both, since that affects how well it dodges cords and pet toys.
  • Noise in mop-only mode: under 55 dB is quiet enough to run while you’re on a call in the next room. The Roborock Qrevo CurvX is rated as low as 53 dB in mop-only mode.

If mopping is not a priority and you only need strong suction, our best robot vacuums guide covers vacuum-only picks, and if pet hair is the main problem, see best vacuums for pet hair.

FAQ

Do these combos actually wash their own mop pads?

All four rinse the mop pad at the dock between passes and then dry it with warm air so it does not sit damp. The Roborock Qrevo CurvX washes at 176°F and the Dreame L50 Ultra washes at 167°F, both with heated water; the Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni washes at 60°C (140°F); the eufy Omni C20 uses room-temperature water instead of a heated wash.

Is 10,000 Pa suction enough for pet hair?

The Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni runs 10,000 Pa and pairs it with an anti-tangle brush design meant to stop hair wrapping the roller; the Dreame L50 Ultra runs a higher 19,500 Pa with its own HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush. For a deeper comparison focused on pet hair pickup, see best vacuums for pet hair.

Do I need hot water mopping, or is a cold rinse fine?

A cold rinse, like the room-temperature wash on the eufy Omni C20, still removes loose dirt and dust from the pad. Hot water, like the 176°F wash on the Roborock Qrevo CurvX or 60°C on the Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni, does a better job breaking down dried food spills and grease before the pad goes back onto your floor.

How long does a dust bag or mop pad actually last?

Based on the auto-empty intervals published by each brand, the Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni’s 2.6 liter bag is rated for up to 150 days, the Dreame L50 Ultra’s 3.2 liter bag for up to 100 days, and the eufy Omni C20’s 3.1 liter bag for up to 60 days. Dreame sells a replacement HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush for $44.99 with a recommended 6 to 12 month swap; the other three brands do not publish a specific mop pad replacement interval or price on their product pages, so budget for that separately.

Can one of these robots clean more than one floor of a house?

All four use LiDAR mapping and save multiple floor maps in their app, so you can carry the robot upstairs and it will recognize and clean that floor’s saved map instead of remapping from scratch.

What owners report

4.7 of 5 from 80 ratings on Dreame L50 Ultra product page (seller's own page) read Sep 16, 2026

Ratings shown on a seller's own page can leave out reviews the seller removed. We read the most recent reviews ourselves and summarize what repeats.

  • +Reviewers with messy real-world floors, including pets and farm mud, describe the auto-empty and auto-mop-wash routine as a genuine quality-of-life change rather than a novelty.
  • +Several reviewers say the build quality and cleaning power feel worth the premium price, even at the $899.99 list price.

I live on a farm and the floors of my house are a last priority - and a constant source of stress with animals, hair, grass clippings, muddy shoes - this thing has changed my life for the better.

The specs that matter, in plain English

Pa (Pascal)
The unit brands use to state vacuum suction strength. A higher Pa number generally means stronger pickup, but brush design and airflow path also affect real-world cleaning, so two robots with similar Pa ratings can clean differently.
LiDAR
A spinning laser distance sensor that maps a room in real time, letting the robot build an accurate floor plan and plan efficient cleaning paths instead of bumping around randomly.
mAh (milliamp-hour)
The unit for battery capacity. A higher mAh number roughly means a longer runtime per charge, though suction mode and mopping also drain the battery faster.
Auto-empty dock
A base station that suctions the dirt out of the robot's small onboard bin into a larger bag or canister after each run, so you empty it every few weeks or months instead of daily.
No-Go Zone
A virtual boundary drawn in the robot's app to keep it out of an area, such as a pet bowl or a pile of loose cables, without needing a physical barrier strip.
